 PANEER MAKHMALI


Ingredients:

  • Paneer - 250gm
  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Onion paste - 4 tbsp
  • Tomato puree - 1 cup (or) Tomato Gravy (optional)
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cashewnut paste - 2 tsp
  • Poppy seed paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Milk - 1 tbsp
  • A pinch of sugar
  • Dry feenu greek leaves  - 1/4 tsp (crush) (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Method:

In a large frying pan ad butter and onion paste, ginger garlic paste and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the rest of the ingredients except paneer and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in between.

Finely add paneer pieces and cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.

Serve hot with naan or paratha or chapati.
