PANEER MAKHMALI
Ingredients:
- Paneer - 250gm
- Butter - 3 tbsp
- Cream - 2 tbsp
- Onion paste - 4 tbsp
- Tomato puree - 1 cup (or) Tomato Gravy (optional)
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Kashmiri Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cashewnut paste - 2 tsp
- Poppy seed paste - 1/2 tsp
- Milk - 1 tbsp
- A pinch of sugar
- Dry feenu greek leaves - 1/4 tsp (crush) (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Method:
In a large frying pan ad butter and onion paste, ginger garlic paste and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients except paneer and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Stir in between.
Finely add paneer pieces and cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.
Serve hot with naan or paratha or chapati.
