PANEER PASANDA
Ingredients:
- Paneer - 500gm
- Ghee or Oil - 1 tbsp
- Ginger, Garlic and Onion paste - 1cup
- Tomato puree - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
- Cummin seed powder - 1/4 tsp
- Capsicum -1 (sliced)
- Red chilli powder - 1tsp
- Tomato sauce - 1tbsp
- Jaggery - 1 tsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
For Garnish:
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
- Fresh cream
Method :
In a sauce pan add oil, paste (Ginger, Garlic and Onion paste), turmeric powder, cummin seed powder, red chilli powder and capsicum cook for 10 minutes.
Add tomato puree and further cook for 10 minutes. Mix rest of the ingredients being careful not to break the paneer and cook for another 5 minutes. Garnished with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
Serve hot with chapathi or naan or ghee rice.
